UK Wolfhound laser directed energy weapon demonstrator

Soldiers from 16 Royal Artillery used the Wolfhound-mounted laser to track and destroy hovering drones at Radnor Range, the first British Army drone kill with a laser fired from an armoured vehicle.

Dstl fired a high-energy laser from a British Army Wolfhound armoured vehicle for the first time, neutralising targets beyond 1 km at Porton Down, under the Land Laser Directed Energy Weapon Demonstrator programme.
